When did Martin Luther King get transformed from a revolutionary civil rights leader that the FBI feared into a teddy bear that only says “I Have A Dream” when you pull the string?

"well if Japanese people can wear blue jeans how come we can’t wear kimonos" well maybe because western culture isn’t unique, blue jeans don’t have any sort of religious or serious cultural significance and you are obviously ignoring the fact that western culture is a virus and has become infused by force with numerous others so try again.

OH MY GOD, I feel this so so sooooo much! My parents are political refugees of Iraq- They had to leave after the first revolt in the 90s. Life was real hard for the parts of my dad’s family that couldn’t get out of the country. During the sanctions that the US put on us during the 90’s, entire families couldnt even afford as much as a single egg. Stuff as simple as pencils were blocked from entering the country by the US and their allies. Thats how bad the sanctions were. Kids stopped going to school, schools shut down- I mean, why get an education when you and your entire family are starving? And now theres a whole generation that is uneducated, when in the 80’s we were one of the only countries in the world with a nearly perfect literacy rate. But hey, love the 90’s right? What a great decade!!!11! And then they had the GALL to invade us. It just breaks my heart to see a once very literate nation be bled dry. Which is why the “Go back to your country!” remark especially stings- What exactly are we supposed to go back to?

My family are Jews from Kazakh country, then that was invaded, so they split and moved to Yiddish-Belarus and Ukraine. Then those were invaded and most were killed by nazis and soviets. Those countries have never been safe since then and they may never be safe in my lifetime.
